@MarcieDWessels Beautifully evocative Marcie. The ‘patchwork quilt’ has two meanings for me - describing the patterning of the fields even in winter but also takes me back to my childhood when I had a patchwork quilt and at bedtime I could hear the crows going to roost. Thanks for sharing.
